After you have test fit the lower half, set it in place and make your "A" pillar holes But first throw away the square nuts that come with it and buy these "well nuts" & stainless screws from any hardware store. It makes the job so much easier.

Now for the final test fit!! Looking sweet, Eh? Make sure you mask the door and "A" pillar to protect it while working around here.

Now for some reason, Safari did not see fit to drill and tap a 6mm hole here? They tell you to do it in the instructions.. It is aluminum, and very easy to do so. |

This is a view of the inlet hose all mounted behind the fender.. This is pretty straight forward Follow the instructions to drill the hole in the apron ( I had a custom internal snorkel so I did not need this step) |
|
|
Follow the instructions to mount the air cleaner inlet to the new elbow ( Note, again.. I had modified this for the internal snorkel and had to "fudge it" a bit with silicon, but normally just a good coat of sealer and a couple rivets hold it together) |

Well once you get the air cleaner all back on, and you wash your truck :-) You are all done. This is a pretty easy job and should take less than 4 hours if you are slow... |

See how nice and flush it sits? From inside you can almost not even see it, all you see is a corner of the head in the upper left corner... |
