Finally, a good use for those plastic grocery bags..

This trick is not mine to claim.. I saw it on some one's web site, Like all great ideas, I had my own take on it.  I mounted mine, not with Velcro to the door, but with brackets inside the cabinet, under the sink..

Here you can see the pipe, I painted the pipe flat black, just because.. The pipe is 2" PVC pluming pipe with closed caps on it.  The brackets I also found at the hardware store..

While I was at it I added some chain to the door to hold it flat, before it folded down and hit the hinges, plus.. It was useless. Now it don't hit, plus I have gained some counter space...

What's out back....

There are a few items in this photo that work real well, The first thing you see it the "storage box" hanging off the back. I carry our screen room, wheel chocks, crank handle, levelers, and gray water  container in here. It stays on when we set up the camper and just clears the  bunk end.  The box is mounted to a frame with a 2" draw bar I did need to weld up a 2" receiver and custom fit it to the back of the camper.

Also if you look close, you will see that there are a set of fog lamps mounted to the rear, slightly facing out.  These are wired to the battery direct, and have a push/pull switch mounted on the frame just under the camper body. The switch is visible as a chrome knob in the above photo.. I have only used them once pulling into a site at 11:00pm, but all the work was worth it just for that one night.. They also work nicely as "campground" work lights...

This is a "Wal-Mart" Tip..

This hanging basket is very useful, I have it mounted with some stainless steel loops,  (sharp edges tear canvas) The basket get stuffed with all sorts of things, and folds up to nothing when we pack up... This is almost a "must have" We have it mounted over the sink..

Have an older camper with peeling striping??

When we bought our camper the striping was pealing badly, and looked dated.  I used a heat gun and "3-M  Adhesive Cleaner" to remove the stripe. I found that a soft rag must be used ie: cloth baby diaper, otherwise the paint can come off too.  The stripe is made for cars and available in many "auto body supply stores"  The "Starcraft" decals I had a local graphic designer make me..  Total cost was about $50.0

Check out the before photos

Quick disconnect water hoses.

This is a rather easy cheap mod, I used brass quick disconnect hose fittings to make my hose come off very quickly.. I used a boat style plug on a chain to keep any dirt and bugs out, and I like it better than the old cap that was there... I also gain by being able to quickly unplug the camper water and plug in a nozzle in its place..

Gray Water Storage Tote

This is my container for "gray water" It is simply made of a 7 gallon container bought at Wal-Mart for about $7.oo, Two hoes replacement end kits and about 2 feet of black automotive 5/8" heater hose. The cap on these are threaded already and the hose "Almost" fits right in.. The thread is off a bit, but they are plastic and the hose will screw right into it. I leave mine right on and screw a cap into the  hose made from an airline blow out plug with the tip sealed off. This set up is very cheap, works great, and looks like it is made for this use.. Many have their own versions of this with different hoses. So feel free to adapt from here and make your own to suit your needs..
