This is a very common modification for those of us with "independent front suspension" or ifs for short.  The 1990 to 1995 Toyota 4Runner  came factory with the ADD (automatic disconnecting differential)  However, there are plenty of good used Aisin hubs to be found on "ifs" equipped pick-ups  (and many other vehicles..)  prices can vary, but I normally see them going in the $50 range.. So once you have a set, buy one of those 1 gallon cans pf parts cleaner and let them soak..
