Marlin Crawler's
My Carb transfer case converted to an EFI transfer case with 4:1 gears in it. The only difference between an EFI transfer case and a Carb case is the internal shift forks. (two circles at the top of the face) My second Carb transfer case mated to the Marlin adapter. This is only the low range part of the case. Bar stock welded to the front shift fork. This keeps the shifter from sliding out of the fork. Both cases put together. The front case is shifted by a shifter that sits on top of the transmission,
right behind the transmission shifter. The shift fork sticking out of the
front slides into the tranny.
These are Mpegs of the rear output shaft flange
Front driveshaft: 34 1/2"
These measurements will vary depending on your lift, axle placement, etc. I found another front driveshaft in a junkyard for $50. That's a little high, but I was desperate. I called Tom and told them that they were en route to him. 20 days later,(damn UPS ground) and I had them back, ready to install. They looked brand new adn were greased and ready to go.
